What is a pct?
PCT, which stands for Post Cycle Therapy, is a procedure that has to be done after a cycle of steroids. The purpose of PCT is to eliminate the negative side effects of steroids. After a cycle of steroids, that’s when your body is most vulnerable to the side effects that come with steroids use. After a cycle, your biggest problem is testosterone production. A steroid supplies your body with synthetic testosterone causing your body to shut down your natural production of testosterone. When the synthetic testosterone is in your body, your body produces more estrogen to support the high levels of testosterone. After the synthetic testosterone depletes, you are left with no production of testosterone, and high levels of estrogen. When this occurs your body is prone to Gynocomastia, and losing all the muscle that you have gained. The PCT works as helping your body regenerate natural testosterone production, and eliminating the extra estrogen in the body. A PCT consist of a Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulator also known as a SERM.
